Daryl McKenzie is Musical Director of the Daryl McKenzie Jazz Orchestra (DMJO) and was Musical Director of the Victoria Police Showband.
He has worked extensively as an educator directing ensembles and lecturing in composition, arranging and orchestration at secondary and tertiary levels. Daryl works as a freelance composer, arranger, trombonist and conductor. He has worked on national television shows including Hey Hey It’s Saturday, Australia’s Got Talent and Dancing with the Stars, and has orchestrated and conducted numerous Australian and international movie scores including The Truman Show, Red Dog, and The Sapphires.
Daryl’s undergraduate studies in music were at the Victorian College of the Arts and North Texas State University. He holds a Master of Education (Music) from RMIT University.

Jasmine Hall was born into a musical family and has sung and played music all her life. She completed her Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance (Advanced) at the University of Adelaide in 2021. She received the COMA Emerging Jazz Writers Award in 2022, the Helpmann Academy’s award for Outstanding Trombonist in 2021 and the Marjorie Garner Orchestral Scholarship for Trombone in 2020. Jasmine was selected as a trombonist in the ANJO Youth Big Band for 2022 and 2024. She was the principal trombonist in the Adelaide Youth Orchestra in 2017 and 2018. Jasmine has been a backing singer and/or trombonist for artists including Tina Arena, Mark Holden, Rhonda Burchmore, Rachael Beck and Eddie Perfect. Jasmine has written and released two original EPs; one with her band ‘minnie little’ and the other with her Big Band ‘minnie little big band’. Jasmine performs regularly as both a trombonist and singer at various jazz venues and corporate events around Adelaide.

Ben Fuller is the Music Coordinator at Woodville High School (South Australia) and the director of the Ben Fuller Big Band.
He completed his Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance at the University of Adelaide in 1996. Ben has been a teacher with the education department since 2004, building and developing a range of music programs and directing ensembles across South Australia including the Jazz SA Super Band Program and State Music Camp.
He has performed as a musician with artists such as Jamie Oehlers, Joe Chindamo, Ray Vega, James Muller and James Morrison, as well as leading and collaborating on several projects including Moments Notice Quintet, Fred Neeson’s Jazz Explosion and Funkomatic 3000.
As well as performing regularly as a bassist he is the composer, arranger and leader of the Ben Fuller Big Band including the release of their first album ‘It’s About Time’ in 2024.
